Project description
The forcemain leaving the rainwater sump pit for the ramp is proposed to be in stainless steel. The 2012 Ontario Building Code does not mention stainless steel to be acceptable for such an application. It is therefore requested to accept stainless steel as an acceptable material for forcemain drainage applications known for its better corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel.
