FOR THIS PROJECT WE WOULD LIKE TO USE SCHEDULE 10S TYPE 304 STAINLESS STEEL IN PLACE OF TYPE 'L' HARD COPPER FOR THE NEW SECTION OF 200mm DIAMETER WATER MAIN INSIDE THE BUILDING AND ABOVE GROUND. STAINLESS STEEL PIPING SPECIFICATION WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:Schedule 10S type 304 stainless steel, ASTM A312, factory or site roll grooved, complete with Victaulic or equal type 304 stainless steel roll grooved end fittings and, unless otherwise specified, Victaulic Style 489 or equal lightweight rigid type 304L stainless steel couplings and coupling gaskets equal to Victaulic Grade M.
