Project description

Alternative solution - In this Division B, Part 3 dwelling unit, the distance from the lowest level (basement) to the floor level of the upper storey (the second floor), is 7.93 m. In accordance with the exceptions of Sentence 3.3.4.2.(3), the dwelling unit floors are required to be constructed as fire separations since the distance from the lowest floor level to the uppermost floor level exceeds 6 m (Clause3.3.4.2.(3)(a)). The alternative solution addresses the functional and objectives of the OBC and the design of the building.
