Alternative solution - It is proposed to protect the unprotected window frames of the operable windows on the east face of the 135 Yorkville tower with vertical sidewall sprinklers with an increased density. These vertical sidewall sprinklers are proposed to spray directly onto the subject window frames to absorb heat and limit the surface temperature to a level that will minimize damage and prevent failure.
