See File 16 - 269625. The building will be provided with a standpipe system; it is proposed to located 65mm fire hose valve connections within the exit stairs in accordance with the NBC and NFPA 14. Fire hose coverage will be provided to so that a fire hose connection is within 33m (30 m hos + 3m hose stream) of all floor areas. To achieve fire hose coverage additional fire hose stations are propvided on the floor area where coverage is not achieved from the connections in the exit stairs.
