Project description
Revision 02 - 1-Previously building classification was submitted as F2. The proposed building is a Valve House, unoccupied space that is built to provide closed room for valves. There is not going to be combustible or non-combustible storage in the building. Considering the reasons listed above, building classification is revised to be F3.2-The limiting distance location is revised from 0 to 1.5 m for the south wall, in order to remove the requirement of the control joint to be fire rated. Taking a notional boundary as half-way between the structures would give a limiting distance of 1.5 m for each structure, which would permit up to 9% unprotected openings for the north exposure of the existing guard house.Revision 01 - changes to OBC Matrix, fire hydrants and water valves, roof assembly fire resistance rating, access door size, foundation and other work indicated in the drawings accompanying this application.Proposal to construct an accessory valve house structure to house premise isolation devices forthe DCW main and Fire main lines serving Greenwood Yard. Scope includes premise isolation valves in accessory structure and existing transit building (5 total) and related site services.
