Project description

In support of the Fire Ventilation Upgrade Program, TTC will be carrying out installation of fan plants at North and South sides of St. Clair West subway station. The project is part of the Line 1 Capacity Enhancement Program under which improvements and installations will be made at the stations on Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway line. The scope of this proposal is for the construction of the fan plant adjacent to the north exit of St. Clair West Station (8 Tichester Road). The new structure will mainly be underground, the only above-grade component will be the staircase leading to grade.
