Project description

Metrolinx Transit Project. Demolition of 449 Carlaw Avenue is necessary as part of the Ontario Line - Pape Tunneling Underground Stations (OL-PTUS) project at the Gerrard Portal, where launch shafts and a portal will be constructed on the west side of the existing GO tracks. This will initiate the Ontario Line¿s twin tunnels, with tunnel boring machines progressing north toward Pape Station.
