Project description

A shrine is proposed on a partial piece of green space at the front elevation of the existing church where a tree once stood however fell down during a wind storm. The proposed shrine is a simple structure open at the front and is proposed to be constructed completely out of reinforced concrete and finished in stone. It will house a small stone podium within where a religious statue of Mother Mary will be kept. The existing use and church building on site will not be altered. The proposed shrine is only intended to provide an extension to the religious function of the existing church, while enhancing the landscaping and road side appeal of the lot overall - Transfiguration of our Lord Roman Catholic Church
