Project description

Proposal for the secant wall is a 58.65 m long permanent secant caisson retaining wall and the approximate exposed height of the wall is approximately 6 m, composed of 1.3 m diameter king caissons and 1.2 m filler caissons with a 1.5 m x 1.2 m concrete cap, constructed parallel to the bridge at its northeast corner. This secant wall will be located within Metrolinx-owned lands at 449 Carlaw Avenue, Toronto (M4K 3H9), PIN 21060-0245, and within the Rail Corridor, PIN 21060-0267.
