Project description

The Alternative Solution is required because the outdoor public pool on the 10th floor is not provided with an 1800mm pool deck on two (2) sides of the pool. See Attachment `A¿ of the outdoor pool which has a minimum 1800mm deck on the entrance side of the pool (long end) and one (1) short end. The two (2) other sides have a deck of 1610mm on opposite long end and 500mm onopposite short end. It is our opinion that the rescue of a bather can be done from three (3) sides of the pool deck even with the reduced widths (1610mm) given the water depth of the pool (1275mm).
