Proposal: this project forms phase 1 of a complete fire alarm upgrade planned for the building. Phase 1 involves upgrading the obsolete and end of life Tyco-Simplex "4100U" head end equipment to the new Tyco-Simplex "4100ES". Phase 2 (not part of this permit) which is anticipated to commence in 2027 will involve adding/replacing field devices to meet latest code requirements.
